Finally, a website that will serve as a showcase of the selfishness of those self-serving rat bastard boomers.
Not that I, as a lowly GenX type person, am at all bitter.
Posted by Big Arm Woman at December 17, 2003 08:41 AMSo are you saying that the baby boomers too all the stuff that you wanted? :)
Posted by: BigDocMcd at December 17, 2003 02:24 PMHee!
Not really--I just want them to be honest about the fact that their entitlements will bleed the rest of us dry, and then dry up for all subsequent generations.
Oh, and while we're at it, I'd like a formal apology for bell bottoms.
I have simple needs.
Posted by: BAW at December 17, 2003 03:40 PMI just want to know if those of us "on the cusp" -- i.e., born in the early 60s, were in the cradle or even the ovary when JFK was killed, can apply for amnesty when the next generations start kicking Boomer Butt.
Because if not, we're really screwed, getting the Boomer name with blessed little of the boomer game...
Thanks for your consideration.

Don't worry--you're not really a Boomer. I think they falsely extended the set of years for their own generation just like they're falsely extending their own youth.
I'll give 'em 1944-1960, and that's all they're getting.
Posted by: BAW at December 18, 2003 08:43 AMThank you from disassociating me and others like Naomi from the "others". I am ashamed to be lumped in with them even I have many friends from that age group. I and many others from the "tail end" have have had to work hard for what we have and are not looking to have things handed to us like many of those before us. Although I may think and feel that I am younger than my years indicate, I am also not going to fool myself either. I will say this however, bitterness and resentment are counter productive. I have been able to attain many successes in my life regardless of who is calling the shots....as long there is a prosperous free society that has not been too badly corrupted by "them", many successes will still be attainable. Remember, many of the problems created can be reversed over time..Art
