Blogosphere News Cycle

Feeling Christmasy and yet still addicted to blogosphere, I decided to share a little ditty that hopefully captures the life cycle of a big news story out here in blogville.

The Twelve Days Of Saddam - and yes, I know some of the lines don't scan. Sing them really fast and get over it. I'm doing this on my lunch break. I'm not Amiri Baraka, for crying out loud.

So, on the "Nine instances of big media's ignoring the REALLY IMPORTANT STORY HERE" is the downbeat on the 'ignoring' or on the 'REALLY'?

Best line - Eight flaming FARK threads (although the number five would help the alliteration).

With the exception of number nine, I found your lyrics very singable. I'll have to go try them out on my flaming leftie boss. (Or is that a BAD idea? Hmmm. Better ponder it awhile.)

Downbeat on "really," then run the rest of the words together all in a rush.

Still doesn't fit, but there you go.
